Oron Barkai
Mr Barkai – co-founder of Ayiko - is an experienced operational manager and business developer. His relevant experience began in 1996 as the sale-manager of the trading company Dodi SA (HQ in Belgium), with sole responsibility for Germany.
Thereafter he was the strategic consultant to Leon GmbH in Germany, which he joined later as their project manager for commercial projects. Prior joining Ayiko, he was a director of Nigeons GmbH, heading the TKS department in Munich.
Mr Barkai holds a BA and diploma in business administration and is fluent in English, German and Hebrew.
Yaakov Chai
Mr Chai is the chairman/majority shareholder of Globe International Holding S.A. He is an Israeli born businessman and the person behind the many successes recorded by Globe until today.
With his 62 years, he has over 38 years of experience in various industries and establishments.
Prior to establishing the Globe Group, Mr Chai had owned and operated construction and trading companies in many parts of the world including South America as well as the United States of America
Manuel A. Richter
Mr. Richter – co-founder of Ayiko - has grown Ayiko’s business from Munich, to China, Latin and North America.
Mr Richter has more then 10 years experience in international management and the mining and trading of metals and in 2003 started the first iron ore project for export in Mexico. Before starting Ayiko, in 1995 Mr Richter founded an advertising and marketing agency, which he exited successfully in 2000.
During his corporate career he worked for companies like Audi AG in Germany, Wella UK and Seat S.A. in Barcelona, Spain. On request of the Bavarian Government, he served as a coach and jury member of the business plan contest in Northern Bavaria for two years and was actively involved in the development of a more entrepreneur friendly Bavaria.
Together with Ayiko, he is seen as one of the key contacts for Bavarian companies, interested in doing business with China. Mr Richter maintains an extensive network throughout China, especially among potential iron ore clients.
Mr Richter holds an BA in International Economics is fluent in German, English and Spanish.
